Job Description

National Start Services is a 27-year-old facility management Company providing different services all nationwide and we are now seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic/Technician to for our Hutchins, TX 75141 location.

This is a Temp-to-Hire position, offering the opportunity for long-term employment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Perform required maintenance and preventative maintenance services on fleet tractors and trailers in compliance with DOT 49 CFR 396
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines and related systems
Conduct lot checks to verify equipment condition and identify potential out-of-service (OOS) items
Safely operate Class 8 vehicles in yard conditions
Move fleet equipment in and out of service facilities
Operate shop tools and equipment including welders, torches, impact wrenches, band saws, scaffolding, ladders, and other assigned tools

Available Schedule:

Monday to Friday

7:00am to 3:00pm

Starting Hourly Pay Rate:

$25.00/hr. Biweekly Pay.

Requirements

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Diesel Mechanic License required.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Background check and drug test will be conducted.
Availability to start working ASAP.
