Perimeter Behavioral of Jackson has a great opportunity for a Dietary Cook as we expand our growing company! If you are seeking an opportunity to work with a great team and be able to help improve adolescent's lives by providing high quality care, then apply today!
Perimeter Behavioral of Jackson offers acute and residential services to children and adolescents. Our mission is to obtain the best staff and utilize state of the art, evidence-based treatment protocols, resulting in the best outcomes for our patients.
The Cook's responsibilities include some of the following:
- Ensures meals are ready at a specified time.
- Follows types and quantities of meats, vegetables and soups prepared by reviewing planned menus.
- Ability to follow therapeutic diet menus, recipes and instruct cooks helpers on the same.
- Monitor and adjust heat controls, as necessary. Able to re-calibrate thermometers as needed.
- Ensure kitchen and dining room area is clean and sanitized.
Qualified candidates should have the following:
- Must have a High School Diploma
- 5 years exp in a commercial setting preferred
