Position Range: $24.48 - $33.88 Hiring Range: $24.480 - $30.750 Most applicants’ offers will fall within this hiring range based on qualifications, experience, and alignment with the role’s needs.

Nature of Position

The Digital Media Coordinator supports the development and distribution of digital media content to enhance agency communications and customer engagement. This role focuses on capturing and editing visual content, maintaining digital media assets, supporting graphic design needs, and assisting with basic data tracking and reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Capture and document agency events, locations, and operations through photography and videography

  • Edit and produce photo and video content for internal and external use

  • Maintain an organized and accessible digital media library

  • Provide graphic design support for marketing materials and communications

  • Assist in creating customer-facing visuals that simplify complex information

  • Collect and compile data from surveys, website analytics, social media, and transit applications for reporting purposes

  • Create and update rider alerts on the agency website and Transit App

  • Perform basic quality checks on published content to ensure accuracy and consistency

  • Support event setup needs related to media coverage (equipment prep, coordination, etc.)

  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Canva

  • Basic understanding of photography, videography, and editing techniques

  • Ability to organize and manage digital files and content

  • Ability to compile and present basic data in a clear format

  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills

  • Ability to follow established processes and meet deadlines

Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s degree in marketing, communications, media, public relations, or related field, from an accredited institution. Two years’ relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and education. Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as part of a regular schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a public sector, transportation, or complex service environment.

Physical Requirements

Generally sedentary in nature; occasionally stand and walk; intermittently kneel, stoop, bend and twist at the waist, and reach overhead; sit for long periods of time. Rarely kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally lift, push/pull, or carry up to 40 pounds. Good vision to read print and computer screen. Hear and speak to communicate in person, before groups, and over the telephone. Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to include repetitive keyboarding, grasping and reaching to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and/or standard office equipment.

Working Conditions

Work is primarily performed in an office environment where noise, frequent interruptions and lack of privacy may be present. Operate a motor vehicle. Occasional exposure to outdoor environment and weather conditions when participating in Agency events. Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
