Overview
Job Description
- 8-hour shift, scheduled for 40 hours per week
- Evening and weekend availability as needed
- Travel required within a 75-mile radius
- Deliver digital literacy and workforce readiness instruction (Northstar, Google/AI tools, Microsoft Office) in both classroom and community-based settings, including required travel
- Adapt instruction for diverse learners and provide one-on-one coaching to support individual goals and skill development
- Assess participant progress and maintain accurate data, certifications, attendance, and outcomes using Caseworthy CRM while ensuring grant compliance
- Support outreach, recruitment, and participant intake efforts, while assisting with scheduling, program development, and Opportunity Center operations
- Provide internal staff training, maintain confidentiality, attend professional development, and ensure adherence to safety and organizational standards
- Model appropriate behavior aligned with Goodwill’s mission and values
- Represent Goodwill in a professional and positive manner
- Follow all organizational policies, safety procedures, and CARF standards
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in education, workforce development, or related field preferred
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; bilingual preferred
- Strong facilitation, professionalism, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to engage adult learners with varying abilities and experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and digital learning tools; familiarity with adult learning principles preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage data, maintain confidentiality, and meet reporting requirements
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance required; flexibility for travel and scheduling needs; must pass background check and drug screen
- Ability to bend, lift, squat, reach, and stand for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Primarily indoor work environment with moderate noise levels
- Occasional exposure to outdoor conditions during travel
