The Digital PR Specialist will develop and execute outreach campaigns that secure high-quality backlinks and earned media coverage for Gambling.com Group brands, and will help promote GDC Group leaders. This role involves crafting compelling pitches, building relationships with journalists, and identifying opportunities to turn company insights and data into stories that resonate with media audiences.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with journalists and editors across the media landscape while helping shape the public conversation around the rapidly evolving global casino gaming and entertainment industry.

We're looking for a self-starter who thrives in collaborative environments. This is a remote role; however, candidates should preferably be based in the Las Vegas area to support occasional local collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute digital PR outreach campaigns to secure media coverage and high-quality backlinks
  • Write compelling pitches, press releases, and media materials to support editorial and marketing initiatives
  • Earn placements in national and regional media, trade publications, blogs, and authoritative websites
  • Identify relevant journalists and build targeted media lists for outreach campaigns
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, bloggers, and influencers
  • Coordinate interviews and media opportunities for Gambling.com Group experts and spokespeople
  • Collaborate with SEO, editorial, research, and social teams to develop linkable assets and newsworthy campaigns
  • Monitor media opportunities and news trends to identify timely PR angles
  • Track campaign performance and report on backlinks, placements, and traffic impact

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum 2-4 years experience in digital PR outreach or media relations
  • Understanding of SEO and link-building through earned media placements
  • Comfortable working with data and turning insights into media-friendly stories
  • Strong research abilities and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with news cycles and ability to craft timely, compelling pitches
  • Ability to manage multiple PR campaigns simultaneously
  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a remote, collaborative environment

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Previous PR experience in gambling, sports, or entertainment media
  • Passion for casino culture and gaming industry trends
  • Existing relationships with journalists covering gaming, business, or entertainment
  • Experience developing digital PR campaigns from ideation through execution
  • Track record of securing media placements with backlinks
  • Experience with PR and SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Muck Rack, BuzzStream, or similar platforms
