In This Role You Will:

The Director of Nursing - Home Health will:

• Provide overall supervision and direction of all clinical services
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and agency regulations and standards of practice
• Oversee and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of patient care services
• Review and ensure Plans of Care align with physician orders and patient needs
• Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients, families, and staff to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in and lead case conferences, quality improvement initiatives, and peer reviews
• Investigate, manage, and resolve patient and staff concerns or complaints in a timely manner
• Supervise, evaluate, and support clinical staff performance, including counseling and disciplinary actions when necessary
• Assist in recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing education of clinical staff
• Ensure proper staff assignments based on patient needs, skill level, and plan of care
• Review incident reports and implement corrective action plans as needed
• Collaborate with billing and payroll departments to ensure timely and accurate operations
• Support audits and maintain readiness for regulatory reviews
• Develop relationships with referral sources and community partners
• Promote a positive, professional environment and maintain strong team engagement

Shift Details:

This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position with daytime hours. Some flexibility may be required based on operational needs. Occasional travel within the service area is required. Director of Nursing will also participate in a rotating on-call schedule, which includes evenings and weekends.

Who You Are:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience (home health or long-term care background preferred).
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of home health regulations and standards of care.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and support a growing clinical team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
