As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will play a critical role in supporting youth in state custody (DCS) and/or adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (DDA) in a supported living environment.

Position Summary
The Direct Support Professional provides hands-on, day-to-day support to individuals in home- and community-based settings. DSPs assist with daily living activities, promote independence, ensure safety, and implement individualized service or treatment plans using a trauma-informed and person-centered approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals with daily living skills, including hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Assist with community integration, including outings, appointments, and social activities
- Provide transportation using company vehicles (must have valid driver’s license)
- Implement behavior support plans and use de-escalation techniques when needed
- Support youth with education, structure, and life skills development
- Document services, progress, and incidents accurately and timely
- Maintain a safe, clean, and structured environment
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, case managers, and team members

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
- Ability to pass background checks (required for DCS/DDA services)
- Experience working with youth, individuals with disabilities, or in human services preferred (but not required)
