Direct Support Professional (Full Time)
Job Overview:For over 30 years we have been serving adults with disabilities on a 10-acre pristine campus in Neptune, NJ. Our leisure and activity-based Adult Day Program continues to grow and we in turn have exciting and fulfilling work opportunities for individuals who want to make a difference and care about others. As a Direct Support Professional, you will work with a team that has a passion for making a positive difference in the lives of adults who have special needs. If you have a desire for a sense of community, enjoy collaborating, are creative and focused, and want to support and enable individuals with disabilities so they can make independent decisions and choices, come join us. Make that difference to positively impact the lives of others. Basic Requirements:
- A High School diploma or its equivalent.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Pass a series of onboarding requirements.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Participate in daily activities like music/dancing, swimming, community visits, shopping and more.
- Timely completion of participant related documentation on a daily basis.
- Maintain a collaborative, team focused, working relationship with co-workers.
- Demonstrate flexibility when requested to assist others.
- Conduct yourself in a manner consistent with Program policies and procedures.
- Complete our on-site, free orientation and ongoing training requirements.
We have both Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities open for the Right Candidates.
Full Time = 5 days/week: Hours discussed with Human Resources.... No over night work.
Part-Time must work three days/week: Hours discussed with Human Resources.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00+ per hour depending upon experience
Expected hours: 40 per week as Full Time: Part-Time: 3 days/week Hours discussed with HR.
