Job Description
Job Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP)Location: Beavercreek, OREmployment Type: Part-Time; Friday/Monday 2p-10pPay Rate: $21.50–$22.50/hour (based on experience) Community Access Services is currently hiring a Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Beavercreek, OR to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. No experience required — paid training provided.What You’ll Do as a Direct Support Professional
- Build meaningful, person-centered relationships that support independence, dignity, and personal choice
- Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal care, and household routines
- Support individuals with community participation, recreation, appointments, and personal goals
- Encourage skill development, confidence, and social connections
- Follow individualized support plans (training provided)
- Administer medications safely and maintain accurate documentation
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
- Advocate for the needs and preferences of the individuals you support
- Experience as a DSP, caregiver, or in human services is helpful but not required
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and ability to become an approved company driver
- Ability to pass a national background check
- Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility support
- Dependable and committed to providing person-centered support
- Competitive Pay: $21.50–$22.50/hour (based on experience)
