Job Description
A hospital in Missoula, MT is seeking a senior-level Director of Surgical Services (RN) to provide leadership oversight of its surgical services department. This is an on-site, in-person leadership role that does not require ongoing travel. Partial relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.The role. The Director of Surgical Services is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the surgical services department. This individual will oversee clinical staff, ensure quality and safety standards are met, and drive departmental performance. The position requires a seasoned nursing leader who can effectively manage both clinical and administrative functions within a surgical services environment.What we're looking for.
- Current (or eligible) Montana RN license required.
- Five years of experience as a Surgical Services RN and as a leader at the Director level.
- Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Advanced degree (MSN, Healthcare Administration, or MBA) strongly preferred.
- Preferred: BLS upon hire; PALS and ACLS within six months of hire.
