About the Role
We are looking for a Director of Global Talent Acquisition to lead and scale our global recruitment efforts across Product & Engineering. In this role, you will develop a forward-looking talent strategy, lead a high-performing team, and ensure AlphaSense attracts, engages, and hires top talent to support our rapid growth. You'll partner closely with senior executives, People leadership, and business leaders worldwide to deliver on our ambitious hiring plans while fostering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience. You will coach leaders, enhance current systems/processes, and drive alignment in a high-growth, high-expectation environment.
Who You Are
- 10+ years of recruitment experience within Product & Engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within high-growth, global organizations.
- Proven success in designing and executing global TA strategies in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience leading multi-location teams and hiring across diverse functions.
- Strong business acumen and ability to build relationships with and influence senior stakeholders.
- Data-driven decision-making skills, with proficiency in TA Analytics and reporting.
- Deep commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
- Familiarity with recruitment tech stacks (ATS, CRM, sourcing tools).
What You'll Do
- Strategic Leadership & Planning:
- Develop and execute a global talent acquisition strategy aligned with AlphaSense's business objectives, growth plans, and cultural values.
- Forecast hiring needs and build scalable recruitment processes that can flex with business priorities.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within recruitment strategies and ensure diverse candidate pipelines.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of recruiters and TA managers across multiple geographies.
- Foster a high-performance, data-driven, and collaborative team culture.
- Enhance team capabilities through training, coaching, and process optimization.
- Stakeholder & Cross-functional Partnership:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executives and department heads on all hiring matters.
- Partner with HR, People Operations, and Finance to ensure workforce planning alignment.
- Collaborate with Marketing to elevate AlphaSense's employer brand and recruitment marketing.
- Operational Excellence & Innovation:
- Drive efficiency through recruitment technology, automation, and reporting tools.
- Analyze hiring metrics to continuously improve time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and candidate experience.
- Lead initiatives to enhance employer brand positioning in priority markets.

- On-time hiring delivery: 90% of roles are filled within or ahead of agreed timelines.
- Executive Trust: C-suite and business leaders view TA as a strategic partner, evidenced by proactive engagement in workforce planning and reliance on TA insights for decision-making.
- Cross-functional alignment: you have strong internal partnerships and clear SLAs with Finance, HR/People Ops, and hiring managers.
- Strong leadership: you model inclusive leadership, and provide ongoing learning opportunities and enablement/training for your team.
- Operational Excellence: your team is data-driven, and you actively track and improve key efficiency metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate experience scores to meet or exceed industry benchmarks.
- Unified global team: you partner with other TA Directors & leaders to ensure standardized and efficient workflows across our global offices.
