Ambarella is a leading fabless semiconductor company at the forefront of edge AI-based computer vision. Our SoCs (System-on-Chips) power everything from autonomous driving and ADAS to intelligent video security and robotics. We are building the next generation of Edge AI, operating at the intersection of high-performance hardware and real-world software deployment.

The Role

As the Director of Global Partner Solutions, you will be the chief architect of our Edge AI ecosystem. You won't just manage relationships; you will translate our silicon and software capabilities into scalable, partner-led enterprise solutions. This is a critical leadership role designed to pivot Ambarella from a silicon provider to a comprehensive solution platform.

Core Responsibilities

• Strategic Architecture: Define global partner strategies and vertical architectures across ISV and GSI ecosystems, specifically for GenAI and application workloads.
• Ecosystem Orchestration: Lead multi-party collaborations (ISV + GSI + OEM + Distributor) to co-engineer and co-innovate "complete" solutions that solve specific customer pain points with rapid speed-to-market.
• Solution Packaging: Develop and maintain validated, repeatable solution stacks and establish proactive outbound communication channels with the partner ecosystem.
• Technical Enablement: Empower developers and partners by providing the necessary SDKs, tools, and playbooks to build on Ambarella platforms.
• GTM & Competitive Strategy: Drive Go-To-Market integration and pipeline creation while establishing our competitive positioning against NVIDIA, Qualcomm, and x86 architectures.

Key Focus Areas

• Market Expansion: Identify and fill white spaces with "brownfield" customers while driving innovation to capture "greenfield" opportunities.
• Advanced AI Workloads: Lead the charge in CV-rich AI workloads, multi-stream high-velocity video, and on-device GenAI / VLM (Vision Language Model) deployments.
• Performance Optimization: Focus on low-power (20-40W), high-performance edge compute and TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) optimization for enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• Experience: 12-18+ years of leadership in Edge AI, AI/ML, or partner ecosystem management.
• Solution Building: A proven track record of building complex, multi-partner solutions (ISV + SI + OEM).
• Technical Depth: Strong understanding of Edge AI architectures and the semiconductor landscape.
• Scalability: Demonstrated ability to scale ecosystem-driven GTM models and drive measurable revenue.
• Leadership: Strong commercial acumen with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence external stakeholders.

Success Metrics (12-18 Months)

• Launch 10-15 production-ready partner solutions.
• Enable 10+ ISVs and 3-5 GSIs within the ecosystem.
• Drive measurable pipeline growth and revenue contribution.
• Reduce enterprise deployment time by 30-40%.

Why This Role Matters

This position is central to Ambarella's evolution. You will enable ecosystem-led revenue scaling and accelerate the global enterprise adoption of Edge AI solutions, directly shaping the future of how AI interacts with the physical world.

The base salary range is $265,000 - $300,000. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to convert to a full-time regular position.
