About This Role
As the Director of Nephrology Commercial Model Design, you will lead the lead the development of the US go-to-market model for a late-stage pipeline therapeutic for several rare Nephrology conditions. You will be responsible for determining the optimal go-to-market model, including field resources and structure, patient support model, multi-channel strategy, etc. In addition to broad model design, this role will also focus on developing the site-of-care strategy, especially with regard to infusion sites.
You will report directly to the US Nephrology Franchise Head and be a core member of the US Launch Operating Team. This role offers you an exceptional opportunity to impact a therapeutic area with significant unmet needs while working alongside a dedicated cross-functional team.
What You’ll Do
Define and evolve the U.S. go-to-market model in collaboration with US and global brand strategy leads
Partner with Insights & Analytics to drive market research required to inform the go-to-market model, including customer segmentation and targeting
Engage with key customers and KOLs to understand potential future challenges and bottlenecks to the use of our nephrology portfolio
Design the optimal field structure to support the launch of nephrology assets, collaborating with Business Intelligence & Operations to drive size and footprint recommendations
Partner with Patient Services to determine the optimal patient support model for future nephrology patients
Create and execute a comprehensive plan for building out the various elements of the go-to-market plan in the run-up to and during launch, and closely interacting with other functions to manage interdependencies
Contribute to the development of the annual brand plan with the US brand lead, and ensuring alignment with the Global team
Frequently interact with Sales, Marketing, Training, Advocacy, Public Affairs, Patient Services, Market Research/Decision Support, Market Access & Reimbursement, Legal, Compliance and Regulatory within the US Launch Operating Team, as well as the Global Launch Team

Required Skills
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
10+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech commercial experience or equivalent consulting experience
US pharmaceutical launch experience (as it relates to designing go-to-market models) strongly preferred
Proven track record in using customer and marketplace insights to develop initiatives that meet both customer and company needs
Expertise in sales force/field design, especially within an account selling model
Experience working in a cross-functional, matrixed environment
Ability to make astute decisions and adapt with agility as new information emerges
Self-starter capable of delivering results in a fast-paced and challenging environment
Effective communication skills, including with customers

Additional Information
The base compensation range for this role is: $199,000.00-$274,000.00Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
