At Digital Turbine, we make mobile advertising experiences more meaningful and rewarding for users, app publishers, and advertisers - intelligently connecting people in more ways, across more devices. We provide app publishers and advertisers with powerful ads and experiences that captivate consumers, fuel performance, and help telecoms and OEMs supercharge awareness, acquisition, and monetization. In a rapidly evolving industry, we are constantly innovating and creating better paths of discovery to connect consumers, publishers, and advertisers across the mobile ecosystem.

Please note that Digital Turbine is a hybrid work environment-only candidates local to the posting location will be considered.

As the Director of Product Management, you will serve as a visionary leader responsible for the strategy, execution, and growth of a major portion of our product portfolio. As a senior leader you act as the strategic bridge between executive business objectives and product execution, serving as a critical deputy to the VP of Product Management.

You will lead, mentor, and scale an organization of Product Managers. By championing a culture of deep customer empathy and outcome-driven development, you will empower your teams to build exceptional value. Your mission is to define the multi-year roadmap, foster innovation, and ensure the delivery of exceptional experiences for our users and the business.

About the Director, Product Management role:

Strategic Leadership & Vision

  • Portfolio Strategy: Define and own the overarching vision and multi-year strategy for massive product areas or multiple pillars.

  • Executive Partnership: Act as a strategic partner to the C-suite, translating corporate objectives into clear product strategies, OKRs, and actionable roadmaps.

  • Market & Business Impact: Identify new market opportunities and business models, owning outcomes like P&L impact, market share, and adoption.

Organizational Leadership & Scaling

  • Scale the PM Org: Recruit and retain world-class talent, designing an organizational structure that supports expanding product lines and cross-functional "pods."

  • Manage Managers: Lead high-performing teams of Directors and Group PMs through executive coaching, continuous feedback, and structured career progression.

  • Resource Allocation & Budgeting: Make strategic decisions regarding headcount planning and budget distribution across competing high-priority initiatives.

  • Culture Carrier: Foster a culture rooted in psychological safety, continuous discovery, customer obsession, and data-informed decision-making.

Product Execution & Cross-Functional Excellence

  • Drive Execution: Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle across multiple teams to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of complex initiatives.

  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Build unbreakable partnerships with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Analytics leaders for seamless go-to-market strategies.

  • Process Optimization: Establish and improve product management operations, frameworks, and cadences to drive organizational efficiency.

About YOU as the Director, Product Management:

  • Experience: 12+ years of progressive Product Management experience with a proven track record of launching and scaling complex products.

  • Leadership: 7+ years of product leadership, including success managing other product managers and leading "managers of managers."

  • Strategic Acumen: Deep understanding of business strategy, pricing, go-to-market mechanics, and P&L management.

  • Customer Obsession: Demonstrated ability to translate qualitative and quantitative insights into winning product strategies.

  • Cross-Functional Influence: Exceptional ability to build consensus and drive alignment across highly matrixed, executive-level stakeholders.

  • Communication: Outstanding executive-level skills, articulating complex strategies into compelling, easily understood narratives.

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA or Master's in a relevant technical field).

  • Foundational background in engineering, computer science, or data architecture.

  • Experience steering product strategy in both high-growth startups and scaled enterprise organizations.

  • Familiarity with leading large-scale organizational transformations or entering new target markets.
