The Finance Director will be a key member of the global finance organisation.u003c/pu003enu003cpu003eThe Corporate accounting team requires a strong team member to evolve as a key part of the current finance function. We need an ambitious and highly talented finance professional to help build a best-in-class platform that supports the needs of a wide range of stakeholders including capital raising teams, investment teams and our operations teams across the globe.u003c/pu003enu003cpu003eThe successful candidate will be expected to become an integrated part of the Finance team and provide profound technical accounting knowledge into the local finance operations in Amsterdam.u003c/pu003enu003cpu003eThe individual will primarily focus on accounting and financial compliance matters for GA/Actis European entities but is also assumed to actively support overall consolidation endeavors.u0026nbsp; The successful candidate will be expected to strengthen and establish a strong accounting function in Amsterdam. Close coordination with local Consultants and other finance colleagues in the group is essential. This role will report to the Vice President - Finance based in Amsterdam, who manages and oversees overall corporate accounting matters across the group.u003c/pu003enu003cpu003eDue to the complex nature of the work, some experience of working with asset management, private equity or financial services in general would be highly beneficial for this new team member.u003c/pu003enu003cpu003eu003cstrongu003eKey Responsibilities (this list is not exhaustive)u003c/strongu003eu003c/pu003enu003culu003enu003cliu003eu003cstrongu003eFinancial Statements:u003c/strongu003e Own the preparation and review of consolidated and standalone financial statements for all entities in scope across Europe and globally, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards.u003c/liu003enu003cliu003eu003cstrongu003eBooks of Accounts:u003c/strongu003e Ensure proper maintenance of books of accounts across all entities, with rigorous controls over journal entry accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.u003c/liu003enu003cliu003eu003cstrongu003eBalance Sheet Management:u003c/strongu003e Oversee the accurate valuation and reporting of balance sheet assets, ensuring positions are correctly reflected and appropriately rolled up into Parent Company financial reportingu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eu003cstrongu003ePeriod-End Close:u003c/strongu003e Drive timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes across all entities, maintaining robust supporting documentation for each reporting cycle.u003c/liu003enu003cliu003eu003cstrongu003eInternal Control Compliance:u003c/strongu003e Ensure adequate documentation and internal controls are in place in compliance with internal control requirements as established by the company, promoting a strong control culture across all financial operations in a US regulated environment.u003c/liu003enu003cliu003eu003cstrongu003eRegulatory Filings:u003c/strongu003e Own the preparation and timely submission of all regulatory and non-regulatory finance filings for European entities, including CSSF returns and other applicable local requirements.u003c/liu003enu003cliu003eu003cstrongu003eOwn Funds u0026amp; Liquidity:u003c/strongu003e Monitor own funds and liquidity requirements of regulated entities, proactively identifying and addressing potential compliance risks in coordination with relevant stakeholders.u003c/liu003enu003cliu003eu003cstrongu003eRegulatory Alignment:u003c/strongu003e Collaborate with Compliance teams and third-party consultants to ensure ongoing alignment with regulatory standards across all financial operations globally.u003c/liu003enu003cliu003eu003cstrongu003eStatutory Audits:u003c/strongu003e Independently lead coordination with statutory auditors for year-end group and standalone audits, ensuring timely closure and resolution of all audit queries.u003c/liu003enu003cliu003eu003cstrongu003eAudit Readiness:u003c/strongu003e Maintain an audit-ready finance function through strong record-keeping, robust working papers, and proactive stakeholder management throughout the audit cycleu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eu003cstrongu003eStakeholder Management:u003c/strongu003e Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, regulators, and cross-functional teams, representing the Finance function with credibility and authority.u003c/liu003enu003cliu003eu003cstrongu003eTalent u0026amp;
