The Brand Director - Games leads the strategy, development, and performance of Goliath’s portfolio of games brands. This role sets the vision for the category, drives innovation, and ensures sustained growth through effective brand management, product development, and marketing execution across party games, family games, and strategic game segments.

Key Responsibilities

Category Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and execute the long-term strategy for the Games portfolio
  • Identify new brand opportunities, product concepts, and growth initiatives
  • Establish category positioning and competitive differentiation
  • Set performance targets and monitor results against business objectives

Team & Brand Leadership

  • Lead and develop Brand Managers responsible for Games brands
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight of brand plans
  • Allocate resources based on priorities, performance, and growth potential

Product & Innovation Oversight

  • Guide the product development pipeline for Games brands
  • Partner with R&D and design teams to bring innovative concepts to market
  • Ensure products align with consumer trends, play patterns, and market demand

Marketing & Commercial Execution

  • Oversee marketing strategies and major product launches
  • Partner with Sales on retail strategy, line reviews, and key account initiatives
  • Present category plans to executive leadership and retail partners

Cross-Functional & Global Alignment

  • Coordinate with International teams to ensure global brand consistency
  • Align marketing, sales, and supply chain plans
  • Collaborate with licensors and external partners as needed

Requirements

  • 8+ years of brand management experience in toys, games, or consumer products
  • Leadership experience managing teams and portfolios
  • Proven success driving category growth and innovation
  • Strong strategic, financial, and analytical capabilities
  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with licensed brands preferred
