Job Description

Why Join Intellia?

Our mission is to develop curative genome editing treatments that can positively transform the lives of people living with severe and life-threatening diseases.

Beyond our science, we live our four core values: One, Explore, Disrupt, Deliver and feel strongly that you can achieve more at Intellia. We have a single-minded determination to excel and succeed together. We believe in the power of curiosity and pushing boundaries. We welcome challenging thoughts and imagination to develop innovative solutions. And we know that patients are counting on us to make the promise a reality, so we must maintain high standards and get it done.

We want all of our people to go beyond what is possible. We aren't constrained by typical end rails, and we aren't out to just "treat" people. We're all in this for something more. We're driven to cure and motivated for change. Just imagine the possibilities of what we can do together.

Reporting to the VP of FP&A, this newly created position is a high-impact role for a finance leader who thrives in the high-stakes environment of a pre-revenue biotech. As we prepare for our first commercial launch, you will be working closely with Commercial leadership as the primary architect of our commercial FP&A infrastructure. You won't just be managing a budget; you will be helping build the revenue models, gross-to-net (GTN) frameworks, and support commercial operations to define our success from day one.

Duties/Responsibilities

Build the Revenue Engine: Develop our first sophisticated, patient-based "top-down/bottom-up" revenue models.

Launch Strategy & Spend: Lead FP&A planning for the Commercial build-out Gross-to-Net (GTN) Framework: Establish the initial FP&A model and forecasting framework for rebates, chargebacks, and co-pay assistance-critical for our first reported earnings.

Market Access Partnership: Partner with the Access team to model scenarios for payer contracting, Medicaid/Medicare mandates, and 340B impact.

Forecast Management: Provide the C-suite with clear visibility into revenue projections vs. actuals to ensure insights to help drive sales performance.

Education / Certifications

  • Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting; MBA or CPA preferred.

Experience/Requirements

  • Experience: 8-12 years in Finance/Accounting, with a heavy emphasis on Biotech Launch Readiness. You've seen a drug go from Phase III to the shelf.
  • The "Startup" Mindset: You are comfortable with ambiguity. You enjoy building your own spreadsheets and processes from scratch.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of US drug pricing, the buy-and-bill vs. specialty pharmacy models, and GTN accrual methodology.
  • Influence: The ability to push back on Commercial leadership with data-driven insights to ensure spend is disciplined and ROI-focused.
