  • Claims Oversight: Provide executive oversight of insured claims management, including complex and litigated matters, partnering with legal counsel, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators to mitigate financial exposure and drive favorable outcomes.
  • Contract Risk Review: Evaluate and advise on risk-related contractual provisions, including insurance, indemnification, and risk of loss terms.
  • Specialty Insurance Placement: Lead placement strategy and oversight for project-specific, country-specific, and specialty insurance programs supporting KBR's global operations.
  • Regulatory & Audit Support: Ensure timely, accurate, and effective responses to regulatory, audit, and government agency requests while maintaining compliance with corporate and statutory requirements.

  • Program Enhancement: Identify and implement innovative risk financing solutions, technologies, and services that strengthen KBR's overall risk management framework.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor insurance market trends, emerging risks, regulatory developments, and claims patterns to proactively influence risk management strategy.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Build, lead, and develop high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, succession planning, and talent development while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Planning & Prioritization: Direct departmental strategy, budgeting, workforce planning, and resource allocation to achieve organizational objectives and optimize risk management investments.
  • Strategic Support: Act as a strategic advisor to the Treasurer and executive leadership team on enterprise risk matters, mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate initiatives.
  • Enterprise Leadership & Governance: Represent the Risk Management function in executive-level discussions, providing strategic guidance on risk exposure, risk financing, and enterprise-wide risk mitigation initiatives.
