We savor the journey together.Position Overview: The Director, Acquisition Marketing is responsible for driving customer acquisition and profitable growth across digital marketing channels. This role leads our customer acquisition strategyfrom strategy development and media planning through performance optimization across owned websites, retail and Amazon. The ideal candidate brings strong performance marketing expertise, a data-driven mindset, and a proven ability to identify opportunities and execute strategies that deliver measurable business impact.Essential Duties and Responsibilities - included but are not limited to the following:Customer Acquisition & Performance Marketing Leadership
- Lead and evolve our customer acquisition strategy, driving efficient growth across ecommerce channels (owned websites and Amazon) through paid and organic digital initiatives. *
- Partner with external agencies to execute performance marketing programs across paid search, paid social, affiliate, SEO, retail media and emerging channels, with a strong focus on new customer growth.*
- Establish and manage clear performance frameworks, including CAC, LTV, ROAS, and CPCs, ensuring consistent measurement across all ecommerce channels. *
- Partner with creative team to ensure best-in-class, conversion-driven creative and messaging tailored by channel and audience.*
- Optimize the full ecommerce funnelfrom traffic acquisition through onsite conversionacross owned sites and Amazon, including product visibility, content, ratings/reviews, and overall conversion performance.*
- Stay ahead of digital trends and best practices, bringing forward insights and innovations to keep the business competitive and best-in-class.
- Own and manage the digital marketing budget across all acquisition channels, ensuring disciplined investment and strong return on ad spend.*
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and refine revenue forecasts across both DTC acquisition and Amazon.*
- Monitor and optimize spend allocation dynamically based on performance, seasonality, and business priorities.*
- Deliver clear visibility into performance vs. plan, proactively identifying risks and opportunities and recommending actions.
- Lead and develop a high-performing digital merchandising team, strengthening capabilities in conversion rate optimization, analytics, and testing.*
- Manage relationships with external agencies and partners, ensuring strong strategic alignment, clear expectations, and continuous performance improvement.
- 8+ years of experience in performance marketing, ecommerce, or digital growth, preferably within a DTC or retail environment.*
- Bachelors degree in marketing, business, or a related field.*
- Proven experience leading Amazon marketing (or similar marketplace channels) preferred.*
- Strong expertise across digital marketing platforms, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.*
- Experience with Google Shopping, Performance Max, and Merchant Center preferred.*
- Demonstrated financial acumen, including the ability to plan, manage, and optimize complex budgets to drive efficient growth.*
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage external agencies and partners effectively.*
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and align senior stakeholders.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.*
- Must be able to complete the essential job functions with reasonable accommodations and meet all the mandatory qualifications under the ADA guidelines. *
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.*
- Must be able to perform essential physical activities such as lifting, climbing, standing, stooping, or typing.*
- Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone.
