WM Product Technology (WMPT) is a dynamic and fast-paced area within the Firm's WM Technology Division. We are responsible for creating innovative technology solutions for the Private Banking Group (PBG), one of the strategic growth areas of the Firm, providing cash management and lending products and services to our WM clients. This includes state-of-the-art technology for a nationwide network of Private Bankers and product specialists who work with Financial Advisors to provide access to products and services such as online banking, cards, deposit products, residential mortgages, securities based loans and tailored lending. Role Profile

The ideal candidate will develop quality software for Digital Business Automation applications used by FA/CSAs, Branch users and clients with various Object-Oriented development tools and techniques. The individual should be highly experienced with backend end development using Java, Spring Framework, Spring boot, Relational Database possess good problem-solving skills, and take ownership of items independently while tracking to closure. The candidate will liaise with global teams to understand requirements, develop high quality code and deliver projects. The position requires attention to detail, coupled with ownership, to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications.

What you'll do in the Role:

  • Design and development of Digital Business Automation applications using server-side technologies for client, Financial Advisor and Branch Managers.

  • Collaboratively Work with Chapter lead, product owners, scrum masters and testing team to deliver business requirements.

  • Participate in scrum meeting, chapter meeting and fleet meeting

  • Create highly optimized, scalable, redundant and distributed software Deliver manageable, modular code, along with automated tests

  • Work with geographically dispersed teams (NYC, Alpharetta, Mumbai, and Bangalore).

  • Perform code reviews on server-side code

  • Help release and maintain code as well as address production issues

  • Implementing DevOps tools and practice

  • Writing unit tests using Junit and Mockito

What you'll bring to the role:

  • 4+ years of hands-on technical experience delivering solutions using Java 8 and above with OO Design and Programming and Distributed Architecture Design.

  • UI experience using Javascript/Angular/React

  • Experience using spring boot, spring mvc and microservices.

  • Project experience in any relational Database

  • Experience in Messaging framework with Kafka or IBM MQ any version

  • Experience with multithreaded programming and concurrency

  • Experience in Agile and DevOps practices

  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

  • Demonstrates exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Development experience building high volume systems

  • Experience in working on large and medium scale projects in agile environment

  • Strong experience in building REST based services integration

  • Experience with task management tools such as JIRA.

  • Competency with source control (preferably Git) and Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins or Teamcity.

  • Good understanding on cloud
