Job Description

Building markets for the new trading frontier.

Bringing the future into focus.

Rothera is building the premier prediction market in partnership with Robinhood and Susquehanna International Group.

By empowering traders to take positions on the events that shape our world Rothera’s platform harnesses the scale and power of financial markets to produce timely, unique, and effective information discovery for leaders and decision makers to ask and answer their most important questions.

Rothera operates at the frontier, generating market-driven forecasts that turn intuition into insight.

About the role

As a Director of Product Management - Listings, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of every contract listed on Rothera's exchange.

You will be the primary owner of the Rothera Instrument Management System (RIMS), the platform that holds all reference data for traded contracts, including series, events, market data provider integrations, event outcome determination, and settlement price generation. Alongside RIMS, you will lead the regulatory process for new listings with compliance and legal, collaborate with customers and liquidity providers to launch new products, and own the listings calendar to ensure Rothera never misses a significant market opportunity.

This role is designed for a product manager who thrives at the intersection of financial markets, regulation, and complex systems, and who can operate with the precision and judgment a regulated derivatives exchange demand

What you’ll do

  • Own the product vision, roadmap, and execution for RIMS, the system of record for all contract reference data, lifecycle state, event outcome determination, and settlement price generation.
  • Work closely with engineering to develop and improve data provider integrations and automate key parts of the listing workflow.
  • Lead the end-to-end process for listing new prediction market contracts, from initial concept through CFTC self-certification, legal review, and contract terms finalization.
  • Partner with compliance and legal to draft contract specifications, stress-testing payout criteria and settlement rules against edge cases before any listing goes live.
  • Work directly with customers to identify demand and roll out new contract ideas.
  • Own the listings calendar and proactively track upcoming events across politics, economics, finance, sports and other domains so no high-value opportunity is missed.
  • Serve as the internal hub for all new product launches, coordinating across engineering, operations, legal, and compliance to ensure every go-live is smooth and on time.
  • Communicate listings roadmap and status clearly to leadership and all relevant stakeholders.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in a field such as Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
  • 6+ years of experience in a product management role responsible for launching new products or services.
  • Understanding and hands on exposure with derivative contracts (futures, options) and financial markets. Experience or familiarity with Prediction markets or State regulated Sports Wagering a plus.
  • Experience with CFTC regulated exchange and clearing including margin is desirable.
  • Skilled in leveraging AI to optimize product management workflows, including conducting market research, identifying emerging trends, and automating data analysis and report generation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
