Role Description
Saatva is seeking a tactical and highly curious Director, Performance Marketing to drive efficiency and growth across our paid digital channels. As we continue to scale our media investment, this role will play a critical part in the feedback loop between data insights and tactical account adjustments.
This position is ideal for an analyst who thrives in ad platforms and enjoys making data-backed decisions based on ROAS and CPA. You will partner closely with our Sr VP to deep-dive into campaign performance, ensuring every dollar spent contributes to our mission of bringing luxury sleep to more customers. You will translate complex platform metrics into clear opportunities for demand harvest optimization, performance creative innovation, and budget efficiency.
What You'll Do
Develop and execute a holistic performance marketing strategy that optimizes digital channels (Paid Search, Paid Social) to online and offline revenue outcomes.
Manage a significant ($4M) monthly media budget, making high-level allocation decisions based on marginal ROI, seasonality, and inventory dynamics.
Build and maintain automated dashboards to track daily spend against quarterly/monthly caps, ensuring budget pacing is accurate and flagging potential over/underspend immediately.
Partner with the Data & Analytics team + external measurement partners to build a performance media planning framework: including distinct media mixes for markets with Viewing Rooms with, and digital-only markets.
Design and analyze rigorous A/B tests for ad creative (e.g., static vs. video), landing page variations, and audience targeting strategies.
Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of performance marketers, fostering their growth in both technical skills and strategic business acumen.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
8–10+ years of performance marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership/people-management role.
Proven experience managing omnichannel budgets (online + offline) at scale, ideally within a Retail/DTC hybrid environment.
Deep expertise in optimizing performance channels to offline, brick/mortar sales metrics.
Strong familiarity with measurement frameworks including Media Mix Modeling (MMM) and geo lift/holdout testing.
Excellent financial acumen; comfortable managing P&L responsibilities, forecasting spend, and justifying budget allocation to executive leadership.
A collaborative mindset; you are a bridge-builder who works seamlessly with Brand, Creative, Analytics, and Retail teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the Home Goods, Luxury Retail, or Furniture sectors.
Background in transitioning a digitally native brand into physical retail channels.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive Compensation: $135,000 - $140,000 base salary
