Job Description

Qualifications:

Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related education*
Guarantee compliance with global certification standards (UL/IEC, EMC/EMI, FCC, CE, etc.).
10+ years of experience in hardware product development and leadership managing various engineering teams
Deep technical fluency in at least two of the following: Electrical/PCB Design, Firmware/Embedded Control, or Mechanical Integration (Injection molding/stamping).
Strong knowledge of power electronics, embedded hardware, electronics packaging, communications, & mechanical integration
Experience managing global teams (Brazil & India)
Previous track record of releasing high-volume industrial hardware products*
Familiarity with reliability engineering and environmental validation processes

Responsibilities:

Scale and mentor a multi-disciplinary hardware group (EE, ME, and Power Electronics) to meet the demands of a rapidly expanding global market
Drive DFM/DFT standards to ensure products are scalable for massive production volumes while maintaining strict reliability in harsh environmental conditions
Own system-level hardware architecture and ensure alignment with product strategy

Work closely with Product Management to translate market needs into technical specifications.
Collaborate with Firmware, Software, Systems Engineering, quality, Supply Chain, and Operations teams.

Engage with suppliers & contract manufacturers to ensure design quality and manufacturing excellence
