ABOUT THE ROLE

The Director of Strategic Finance & Treasury is responsible for owning the company’s liquidity, capital structure, and treasury operations for a global, multi-site, capital-intensive business. This role serves as a key control point for enterprise-level capital allocation and investment discipline, ensuring rigorous management of cash, leverage, and capital deployment.

You’ll act as a trusted finance partner to the CFO, executive leadership team, and financial sponsors, helping guide major capital, financing, and investment decisions that shape the future of the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Treasury & Liquidity

  • Own management of the company’s revolving credit facility and debt portfolio, including availability, covenant compliance, and lender reporting.
  • Lead cash and liquidity forecasting by integrating operating cash flow, capital expenditures, financing activity, seasonality, and site-level dynamics.
  • Manage relationships with banks, lenders, and capital providers.
  • Establish scalable treasury processes, controls, and governance suitable for a large, distributed operating footprint.

Capital Structure & Strategic Finance

  • Partner with the CFO on capital structure and balance sheet strategy, including leverage targets, liquidity buffers, and financing alternatives.
  • Evaluate capital tradeoffs with a focus on risk, flexibility, and long-term value creation.
  • Support refinancing, recapitalization, and transaction-related initiatives as needed.
  • Contribute to M&A and inorganic growth efforts, including diligence, valuation, and integration planning (a plus, not required).

Capex Governance & Investment Discipline

  • Own the end-to-end internal capital expenditure governance process, including business case development, approval workflows, and investment standards.
  • Partner with functional and operating leaders to ensure capital requests are clearly scoped, return-based, and aligned to strategic priorities.
  • Track capital deployment and performance versus approved plans.
  • Lead post-investment reviews to assess realized returns and inform future capital decisions.

Executive, Board & Sponsor Support

  • Serve as a key control point for capital, liquidity, and investment decisions.
  • Deliver decision-oriented analysis and clear, cash-focused recommendations for executive leadership, board materials, and sponsor discussions.

Capability & Team Building

  • Help shape and scale treasury, capex governance, and strategic finance capabilities as the company grows.
  • Contributes to building strong processes, tools, and talent to support future expansion.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in treasury, strategic finance, or adjacent roles.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience managing credit facilities, liquidity, and lender relationships.
  • 7+ years of strong understanding of cash flow, leverage, and capital investment frameworks.
  • 5+ years of expert-level Excel and financial modeling experience.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting M&A and valuation activities.
  • 2+ years of prior hospitality or retail industry experience preferred but not required.
