Overview

We are seeking a Corporate Communications & PR leader to own and execute proactive, high impact corporate communications in the U.S. This role is an individual contributor who will partner closely with executive leadership to translate raw messaging into compelling, credible stories that strengthen brand reputation, elevate executive thought leadership, and deepen media relationships.

This role is highly execution focused. Strategy already exists; we need someone who can deliver clear messaging, smart pitching, strong spokesperson prep, and consistent results.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate PR & Proactive Storytelling

  • Own and execute proactive corporate PR messaging, emphasizing positive messaging, third-party storytelling, and long‑term reputation building
  • Translate raw executive messaging into polished narratives, remarks, talking points, opinion pieces, and media ready content
  • Develop differentiated corporate messaging platforms beyond product and consumer brand awareness (e.g., innovation, U.S. impact, community, standards leadership)

Media Relations & Executive Visibility

  • Leverage and expand strong national and trade media relationships (business, technology, innovation, standards, and policy adjacent outlets)
  • Drive proactive media tours, briefings, and event based opportunities
  • Position the company as an industry leader and CEO or appointed spokesperson through speaking engagements, interviews, panels, and contributed content
  • Prepare executives for media, including spokesperson training, briefing documents, and on‑the‑spot messaging

Thought Leadership & Industry Engagement

  • Support leadership presence at Wi-Fi 8 events, standards meetings, and industry forums, developing messaging, remarks, and media strategies around each
  • Manage PR tied to standards bodies, innovation leadership, and technical milestones, translating complex topics into accessible narratives
  • Identify opportunities where corporate contributions (e.g., donations, community initiatives) organically support thought leadership without feeling promotional

Corporate Reputation & Community Impact

  • Tell the story of the company's impact on Irvine, the U.S., and broader markets, including innovation, economic contribution, sustainability, and community initiatives (e.g., tree planting, giving programs etc)
  • Collaborate with external PR agencies while ensuring clear differentiation between corporate PR and product/brand PR while maintaining a similar voice
  • Ensure consistent messaging across earned media, executive appearances, events, and internal communications

Internal Communications

  • Support internal communications initiatives that reinforce corporate priorities, leadership messaging, and company values
  • Ensure alignment between what is communicated externally and what employees hear internally
