The Director, Infusion Pharmacy Services provides executive leadership and oversight for infusion pharmacy operations supporting infusion centers and service lines requiring sterile compounded products. This role is accountable for clinical quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and strategic growth of infusion pharmacy services across the organization. The Director collaborates with pharmacy leadership and enterprise partners to optimize delivery of pharmacy services, improve patient outcomes, and advance value-based care initiatives. This position serves as the primary pharmacy regulator and operational subject matter expert for infusion services.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
  • Active Pharmacist license in the state of Texas or the ability to obtain with 90 days of hire
  • 8+ years of progressive management experience in a hospital, ambulatory and/or clinical setting, including strategic planning, development and monitoring of budgets, and personnel management
  • Solid knowledge of current trends in the infusion pharmacy area, with the ability to assess and identify opportunities to leverage pharmacy expertise to improve quality, safety, patient experience and financial performance
  • Advanced knowledge of regulations and requirements pertaining to sterile compounding and handling of hazardous drugs, including USP chapters 797 and 800
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of Texas State Board of Pharmacy and DEA regulatory standards and participation in AAAHC or TDH surveys
  • Knowledge of the principles of quality management and experience in leading Performance Improvement teams
  • Proficient computer skills with MS office products
  • Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS in Pharmacy or PharmD
  • Board Certification in Sterile Compounded Products
  • Large scale project management experience
  • Pro forma development
  • Functional understanding of current trends within pharmaceutical contracting, with a particular focus on value-based care
  • ACO integrated pharmacy experience
  • EPIC experience
  • Proven to regularly presented to executive leadership, physicians, or governance committees to influence clinical, operational, or financial decisions
  • Proven robust analytics skills
  • Proven culture and Teambuilding skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $134,600 to $230,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
