Director, Investor Relations & Capital Markets
Department: Finance Location: Palm Beach Gardens, Florida (On-site) Reports To: Senior Vice President, Treasurer, Capital Markets & Investor Relations
Position Overview
Ampera is seeking an experienced Director, Investor Relations & Capital Markets to serve as a key liaison between the company and the investment community. This role will play a critical part in investor communications, public company reporting, and Board engagement, ensuring that Ampera maintains transparency, credibility, and compliance as a publicly traded organization.
The ideal candidate will bring significant experience working within publicly traded companies, possess a deep understanding of financial reporting and disclosure requirements, and be comfortable engaging with executive leadership, investors, and the Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities
Investor Relations
· Serve as a key leader of the Investor Relations function, managing communication with shareholders, analysts, and the broader investment community.
· Prepare and support earnings materials, investor presentations, and external financial messaging.
· Develop clear, consistent, and compelling investor communications and disclosures.
· Help shape the company’s investor narrative and positioning in the market.
Capital Markets
· Support capital raising initiatives, financing transactions, and strategic financial projects.
· Prepare investor presentations, financing materials, due diligence responses, and data room content.
· Conduct capital markets research, peer analysis, valuation benchmarking, and financing alternative assessments.
· Monitor debt and equity market conditions and provide insights regarding financing opportunities and risks.
Public Company Compliance & Reporting
· Ensure all external communications align with public company disclosure requirements and regulatory standards.
· Support SEC reporting processes, disclosure controls, and governance initiatives.
· Collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, and Executive Leadership to ensure accurate and consistent external communications.
· Support preparation of materials related to earnings releases, investor updates, and other public disclosures.
· Develop and implement investor relations and disclosure best.
Board & Executive Support
· Prepare Board and Committee materials, dashboards, market updates, and investor-related reporting.
· Support executive presentations and strategic planning discussions.
· Provide market intelligence, investor feedback, shareholder insights, and competitive intelligence to management and the Board.
· Assist in preparing materials related to financing activities, capital allocation discussions, and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
· MBA, CFA, CPA, or other advanced financial credential preferred.
· 7–12+ years of experience in Investor Relations, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Equity Research, Treasury, Capital Markets, or related disciplines.
· Direct experience supporting publicly traded company is strongly required.
· Strong understanding of public company financial reporting requirements, disclosure obligations, and regulatory standards.
· Strong knowledge of capital markets, valuation methodologies, and investor communications.
· Experience supporting investor communications, earnings materials, and Board reporting.
· Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership, investors, and Board members.
· High attention to detail with strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
· Strong knowledge of capital markets, valuation methodologies, and investor communications.
Compensation: $160,000.00 per year
