Job Details

We are looking for a leader capable of helping run the practice alongside ownership.

The ideal candidate possesses the technical expertise to guide architects and project managers, the leadership skills to manage teams and project delivery, and the client-facing presence necessary to work directly with high-net-worth homeowners.

This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to ownership while helping shape the future direction of the firm.

ResponsibilitiesTechnical LeadershipServe as a senior technical resource for architectural staffProvide guidance related to constructability, detailing, materials, building systems, and project executionLead quality assurance and design reviewsSupport project teams in resolving complex design and construction challengesMaintain design excellence throughout all project phasesTeam LeadershipLead and mentor Architects, Project Managers, and DesignersBalance workloads and staffing resources across multiple projectsEstablish accountability and performance standardsSupport recruiting, training, and professional development initiativesFoster a collaborative, high-performing cultureClient LeadershipServe as a senior representative of the firm with clients and project stakeholdersParticipate in design presentations and strategic planning meetingsGuide clients through complex design and construction decisionsMaintain exceptional client service throughout project deliveryBusiness DevelopmentDevelop relationships with builders, consultants, and referral partnersSupport project pursuits and proposal effortsParticipate in networking and industry eventsHelp identify opportunities for strategic growthPractice OperationsPartner with ownership on firm operations and long-term planningHelp establish systems, processes, and best practicesDrive project delivery consistency and operational excellenceContribute to staffing, forecasting, and business planning initiativesQualificationsLicensed Architect preferred15+ years of architectural experienceExperience leading architectural teams and project deliveryStrong knowledge of luxury residential architecture and custom home constructionDeep understanding of building systems, materials, constructability, and detailingProven leadership and mentoring experienceExperience working directly with high-net-worth clienteleBusiness development and relationship-building capabilitiesAdvanced Revit proficiencyExcellent communication and presentation skills
