Job Summary

The Director of Banquets leads all banquet operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, strong financial performance, and adherence to safety standards. This role requires an experienced food and beverage leader who can coach teams, drive operational excellence, and build strong partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop team members and managers
  • Drive operational performance and continuous improvement
  • Ensure high standards of guest service, safety, and sanitation
  • Manage budgets, financial reporting, and payroll processes
  • Build and maintain relationships with partners, vendors, and leadership
  • Oversee hiring, performance management, and corrective actions
  • Collaborate on menu development and enhance the overall guest experience
  • Plan staffing and support needs for events and peak business periods
  • Conduct meetings, event walkthroughs, and safety inspections
  • Support engagement initiatives and team recognition programs
  • Ensure accurate and timely administrative and financial processes

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of leadership experience in hospitality
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management preferred
  • Strong financial and operational knowledge
  • High computer proficiency
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Passion for hospitality and guest experience
