Job Description
We combine software, advanced materials, and local digital factories to produce high-design lighting and furniture on demand. Our mission is to unlock creativity at scale while building a cleaner, more responsive manufacturing system.
We are entering a defining moment: the launch of Gantri Wireless — a new category of battery-powered, design-forward lighting powered by our proprietary Gantri Helia technology. Simultaneously, we are scaling Gantri Made, our custom manufacturing platform for brands and trade partners. This role will shape how both stories reach the world.
You will shape how Gantri shows up culturally, commercially, and strategically — translating our digital manufacturing thesis into a design-forward, premium, innovation-led brand. You will own DTC marketing channels (email, social, campaigns, content) and work closely with performance marketing agencies, the sales team, and our creative director to ensure every touchpoint is sharp, coherent, and emotionally resonant.
This is not a strategy-only role. You will build the narrative and activate it — owning the channels, managing agency partners, and shipping work with speed and craft.
This role reports directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities
Brand positioning & narrative clarity
- Evolve Gantri's brand positioning as we scale Gantri Made and launch Gantri Wireless
- Clarify messaging across:
- DTC design customers
- Trade / specifiers
- Brand partners
- Translate complex technology into emotionally resonant storytelling
- Build a clear messaging hierarchy and brand playbook
DTC channel ownership
- Own email marketing, social media, content, and campaign execution
- Build and manage the editorial calendar and content programming
- Work closely with performance marketing agencies to ensure brand and paid reinforce each other
- Improve top-of-funnel awareness, brand search, and engagement
- Define brand KPIs and measure long-term brand equity alongside short-term performance
Integrated launch strategy
- Lead brand strategy for product launches and platform initiatives
- Partner with Creative and Product to shape go-to-market narratives
- Ensure every launch feels intentional, premium, and culturally relevant
- Build repeatable launch frameworks (drop mentality, fashion calendar discipline)
Cultural relevance & community
- Develop partnerships with designers, tastemakers, and collaborators
- Shape Gantri's presence at trade shows, design fairs, and key events
- Elevate Gantri's brand perception in the architecture & interiors community
- Drive PR strategy and thought leadership
- Dotted-line oversight of influencer program to ensure brand consistency (influencer relationships managed by Sales)
Cross-functional collaboration
- Work tightly with:
- Creative Director (visual expression and craft)
- Sales (trade narrative, decks, positioning tools, co-selling support)
- Performance marketing agencies (paid media strategy and execution)
- Product (roadmap storytelling)
- Ensure brand consistency across website, sales materials, retail, and partnerships
Requirements
- 8–12+ years in brand marketing, brand strategy, or a combination of agency and in-house roles
- Experience at a high-growth, design-forward consumer brand (fashion, beauty, home, lifestyle) or a top-tier brand agency (e.g., Red Antler, Collins, Wolff Olins, Partners & Spade) with subsequent in-house experience
- Proven track record scaling brand during periods of rapid growth
- Hands-on experience managing DTC marketing channels (email, social, content, campaigns)
- Experience working across DTC and wholesale/trade environments preferred
- Comfortable managing and directing external agencies (performance, PR, creative)
- Exceptional taste and strong point of view
- Strategic clarity — can define positioning, not just execute campaigns
- Ability to translate innovation into desire
- Strong operator who can ship quickly
- Deep understanding of cultural timing and brand momentum
- Comfortable in a founder-led, fast-moving environment
- Experience working with physical products
