The Opportunity
As the Director of Contracting, you will serve as the enterprise-wide lead for all contractual agreements. From negotiating with major Arizona healthcare payers to managing construction and vendor agreements, you will build the systems that strengthen our sustainability and growth.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $110,000 - $117,000 (commensurate with experience)
- Time Off: Generous PTO/PST (4+ weeks per year) plus 11 paid holidays.

What You'll Do
- Lead Negotiations: Serve as the primary lead for Arizona healthcare payer contracts, vendor services, construction projects, and insurance brokers.
- Build Systems: Establish and manage a centralized, enterprise-wide contract repository and tracking system for renewals and expirations.
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with Finance on cost modeling and rate analysis, and partner with Legal to refine contract language.
- Mentor: Select, train, and coach a dedicated team to maintain high performance and quality.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain alignment with AHCCCS, CMS, and other regulatory requirements.
What You Bring
- Experience: 5+ years in contract negotiations and management (Healthcare background highly preferred).
- Expertise: Deep understanding of AHCCCS, commercial plans, and reimbursement methodologies.
- Skillset: Exceptional analytical skills, financial acumen, and the ability to interpret complex legal language.
- Leadership: A collaborative style with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects at once.
- Requirements: Must have a valid AZ Driver's License and be able to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.

The Director of Contracting provides enterprise-wide leadership and oversight for all contractual agreements across Terros Health. This role ensures a consistent, strategic, and compliant approach to contracting by leading negotiations, maintaining comprehensive contract records, overseeing renewal and amendment cycles, and ensuring all agreements meet legal, regulatory, financial, and operational requirements. This leader will apply advanced contracting and negotiation expertise, particularly within the Arizona healthcare landscape, to create and manage a disciplined contract lifecycle management structure that strengthens operational performance, ensures compliance, and supports enterprise-wide success.
