Director Of Corporate Finance

Healthcare Realty (NYSE: HR) is hiring a Director on its Corporate Finance team at the company's Nashville headquarters. The role provides analytical and tactical support to the First Vice President of Corporate Finance and Chief Financial Officer.

Core responsibilities include updating and improving the corporate model, preparing ad-hoc financial analyses, preparing Board materials and monthly presentations, and other ad-hoc analyses. The role will also be involved in, and support, Capital Markets and Investor Relations. This is an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience with REITs, real estate, corporate finance and publicly traded companies.

We seek a self-motivated individual with strong financial background, demonstrated expertise with financial modeling and presentation preparation, and strong verbal and written communication skills. The candidate should have:

• Advanced financial modeling skills and strong proficiency in Excel
• Experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or investment analysis
• Deep understanding of REIT and real estate financial metrics, public company reporting requirements, and capital markets
• Experience preparing Board and investor-facing materials
• Knowledge of valuation, cost of capital, risk / return trade-offs and GAAP accounting concepts
• Ability to produce in-depth peer company research
• Interest and aptitude to utilize tech-enabled analytical tools
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with high attention to detail
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of investment banking, Corporate FP&A or similar experience, plus an undergraduate degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business or another related field. MBA, CPA, and/or CFA designation are a plus.
