Autodesk is hiring a Director of Customer Success Finance to serve as a strategic partner to the Chief Customer Officer and lead financial strategy and execution across the global Customer Success organization. This role combines deep analytical expertise with strong business P&L acumen to guide planning, performance measurement & reporting, and investment decisions-particularly across monetization of services.

You'll lead a high-performing team and collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Sales Finance, Analytics, and Corporate Finance. Your ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights will be key to influencing decisions across both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead finance partner to the Chief Customer Officer, overseeing planning, forecasting, and investment strategy across all Customer Success functions, a business greater than $400M
  • Lead and develop a team of finance professionals focused on investment planning, ROI, growth initiatives, and spend management
  • Leverage a "P&L mindset" to scale KPIs, dashboards, and models to measure the business and identify opportunities
  • Leverage multi-source analytics to distill clear, compelling recommendations for senior business leaders
  • Own executive reporting and narrative-connecting financial outcomes to business impact and helping shape key decisions

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years in finance, with deep experience in Customer Success or Services finance with deep P&L management experience, preferably in a complex, global, matrixed environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to extract insights from complex datasets
  • Skilled at crafting business narratives that resonate with non-finance stakeholders and drive action
  • Experienced team leader and talent developer
  • Proficient in tools such as Anaplan, Sigma, Google Analytics, with Snowflake experience a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Economics preferred

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $170,800 and $276,320. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
