Job Description

This role will lead the day-to-day operations of the school while shaping curriculum, managing instructors, and ensuring students are progressing toward licensure.

This is a leadership role for someone who can build structure, maintain compliance, and elevate the overall student experience — whether coming from the electrical field or an education-focused background.

What You’ll Own

  • Lead day-to-day school operations, including instructors and administrative staff
  • Oversee curriculum delivery across in-person, livestream, and online formats
  • Ensure programs align with state licensing requirements and regulatory standards
  • Monitor student progress, completion rates, and overall experience
  • Resolve escalated student or instructional issues
  • Support enrollment growth and admissions efforts
  • Identify opportunities to expand course offerings and programs
  • Maintain compliance with state education and licensing requirements, including audits and reporting
  • Build and maintain a strong, professional, student-focused culture

Requirements

We are open to candidates from one of two backgrounds:

Path A — Electrical Industry Leadership

  • Master Electrician license (Maine preferred or ability to obtain)
  • Strong background in the electrical field (5+ years)
  • Experience leading teams, projects, or training programs
  • Deep understanding of NEC and licensing pathways

Path B — Education / Instructional Leadership

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (teaching credential preferred)
  • Experience in instruction, curriculum development, or academic leadership
  • Exposure to skilled trades, workforce development, or technical training environments preferred
  • Ability to manage instructors and deliver structured learning programs
