Job Description
This role will lead the day-to-day operations of the school while shaping curriculum, managing instructors, and ensuring students are progressing toward licensure.
This is a leadership role for someone who can build structure, maintain compliance, and elevate the overall student experience — whether coming from the electrical field or an education-focused background.
What You’ll Own
- Lead day-to-day school operations, including instructors and administrative staff
- Oversee curriculum delivery across in-person, livestream, and online formats
- Ensure programs align with state licensing requirements and regulatory standards
- Monitor student progress, completion rates, and overall experience
- Resolve escalated student or instructional issues
- Support enrollment growth and admissions efforts
- Identify opportunities to expand course offerings and programs
- Maintain compliance with state education and licensing requirements, including audits and reporting
- Build and maintain a strong, professional, student-focused culture
Requirements
We are open to candidates from one of two backgrounds:
Path A — Electrical Industry Leadership
- Master Electrician license (Maine preferred or ability to obtain)
- Strong background in the electrical field (5+ years)
- Experience leading teams, projects, or training programs
- Deep understanding of NEC and licensing pathways
Path B — Education / Instructional Leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (teaching credential preferred)
- Experience in instruction, curriculum development, or academic leadership
- Exposure to skilled trades, workforce development, or technical training environments preferred
- Ability to manage instructors and deliver structured learning programs
