  • Drive continuous improvement in engineering performance, delivery efficiency, technical quality, and operational effectiveness.
  • Establish and maintain engineering governance processes to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, industry standards, client requirements, and company policies.
  • Oversee engineering risk management, technical assurance, and engineering readiness reviews across projects and operations.
  • Lead the development of engineering capability, workforce planning, succession planning, and technical competency programmes.
  • Manage engineering resources and subject matter experts globally to support business priorities and project demands.
  • Develop and implement engineering technology and digitalisation strategies that improve productivity, innovation, and operational performance.
  • Partner with operational, commercial, and project teams to improve delivery outcomes, technical solutions, and customer satisfaction.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, industry bodies, and regulatory organisations to support business objectives and technical excellence.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Chartered Engineer (or equivalent professional accreditation) preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive engineering leadership experience within the energy, industrial, infrastructure, or engineering services sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams in complex, project-driven environments.
  • Strong understanding of engineering governance, technical assurance, engineering risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven ability to develop engineering standards, delivery methodologies, and technical operating models.
  • Experience supporting project execution, business development, tendering, and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance technical excellence and business performance.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience leading organisational change, capability development, and continuous improvement initiatives within global organisations.
