Director of Finance and AdministrationThe Director of Finance and Administration will lead the financial operations and support the overall business administration of the Firm. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring the Firm has accurate, timely financial information and effective financial systems to support sound decision-making, profitability, and sustainable growth.Director of Finance and Administration Responsibilities:
- Own all aspects of the companys accounting and financial operations.
- Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Oversee cash flow, general ledger, reconciliations, and close processes.
- Administer the companys 401(k) plan, including coordination with vendors and compliance requirements.
- Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and reporting as needed.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, tax, and audit requirements.
- Continuously improve accounting processes and controls.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 56+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Prior law firm or professional services accounting experience.
- CPA or advanced accounting credentials (a plus, not required).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Proven experience managing accounting staff.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- High level of accountability, reliability, and ownership.
