Pattern is currently seeking a Director of Fulfillment Brand Management. This is a key leadership role on a new, rapidly growing business unit, reporting directly to the Fulfillment CRO. The new role will be responsible for overseeing the success of both the team and the partners who utilize Pattern’s third-party logistics (3PL) services. Unlike our full-service ecommerce management team, this position is focused exclusively on fulfillment account management, serving as the primary liaison between fulfillment partners and our logistics operations.
What is a day in the life of the a Brand Manager of Fulfillment?
Leadership: Acts as a player-coach and is responsible for both individual success and the success of the team.Partner Relationship Management: Serves as the primary liaison between customers and Pattern’s logistics teams to ensure seamless fulfillment operations.Onboarding & Integration: Oversees the onboarding of new partners into Pattern’s 3PL systems across multiple online retail platforms, including Amazon, Walmart, and Shopify.Strategic Business Planning: Develops business plans focused on increasing operational efficiencies and maximizing account potential through logistics excellence.Operational Optimization: Designs and implements new processes and systems to support business growth and streamline the movement of goods.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works closely with company leadership and logistics leads to enhance Pattern’s 3PL offerings and maintain high service standards.Complex Issue Resolution: Handles and resolves complex requests from 3PL business partners in a professional manner.Account Health Monitoring: Monitors account health with a focus on inventory flow, shipping accuracy, and fulfillment speed.Data Analysis & Reporting: Gathers and organizes logistics data to provide partners with actionable insights into their supply chain performance.Business Scaling: Identifies opportunities to scale partner businesses by leveraging Pattern’s distribution network.Professional Communication: Ensures all partner communications and reporting consistently meet the highest ethical and professional standards.
What will I need to thrive in this role?
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field.Years of Experience: 7–10 years of experience as an individual contributor and 2–3 years of leadership experience in a 3PL or high-stakes logistics environment. Experience with Amazon (FBA/FBM) and other marketplace fulfillment requirements is required, along with a background in process improvement or supply chain optimization.Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Drive for data analysis and reporting.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for managing high-stakes partner relationships.Mindset: Self-driven, organized, and proactive, with a high level of attention to detail.Mobility: Willingness to travel out of state on occasion for partner or warehouse visits.
