Location: This is an on-site leadership opportunity in Baytown, Texas, ideal for a facilities professional who enjoys being close to operations, clinical teams, and the physical environment they support.
Note: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree and 5+ years of healthcare or hospital facilities management experience. Facilities leadership experience and direct knowledge of hospital regulatory, accreditation, and compliance requirements are also required.

Job Description
- Lead the operation, maintenance, safety, and long-term planning of hospital facilities and physical plant systems.
- Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, medical gas, fire and life safety, and emergency power systems.
- Direct Environment of Care and Life Safety programs while maintaining continuous survey readiness.
- Ensure compliance with CMS requirements, accreditation standards, NFPA, OSHA, Texas healthcare regulations, and other applicable requirements.
- Lead capital projects, facility renovations, construction activities, and infrastructure improvements.
- Develop and manage facilities operating and capital budgets.
- Lead emergency preparedness, utility failure response, and disaster readiness initiatives.
- Supervise facilities personnel and manage third-party contractors and service vendors.
- Partner with clinical and operational leaders to proactively identify and address facility needs.
- Support a safe, professional, and patient-centered environment across the hospital.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field required.
- 5+ years of healthcare or hospital facilities management experience required.
- Facilities management leadership experience required.
- Strong experience with hospital regulatory, accreditation, Environment of Care, and Life Safety requirements.
- Working knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, medical gas, fire protection, and emergency power.
- Experience managing vendors, budgets, capital projects, renovations, or construction.
- CHFM, FMP, CFM, or PE certification preferred.
- Familiarity with Texas healthcare facility requirements preferred.
- Ability to participate in on-call coverage and respond to after-hours facility emergencies as needed.
- Ability to access mechanical and construction areas and meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance when necessary.
