Job Summary

This location includes multi-units within the complex - Spokane Convention Center, First Interstate Center for the Arts, The Podium, One Spokane Stadium & Numerica Veterans Arena

Step into a leadership role where people strategy meets operational excellence. The Director of HR will lead human resources initiatives that will support a diverse workforce, strengthen compliance, and elevate the employee experience across the venue. This role will drive strategic HR programs while partnering closely with venue leadership to support business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive human resources leadership experience

  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws

  • Experience overseeing employee relations, compliance, and talent management programs

  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead human resources strategy and operations for the venue

  • Oversee employee relations, performance management, and compliance efforts

  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies

  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organizational development
