Immediate need for a talented Director of Informatics. This is a Fulltime opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Waimea ,HI(Onsite). Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location). Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with senior leadership to lead EHR Governance committees and drive strategic alignment on care delivery.
Serve as a change leader, mobilizing teams to enhance clinical workflows and decision support tools.
Oversee the implementation and optimization of electronic health records and informatics tools, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Conduct needs assessments and gap analyses to identify opportunities for process improvement.
Develop and implement policies and procedures aimed at maximizing patient safety and quality of care.
Foster relationships with clinical staff and IT to ensure that user needs are met in all project initiatives.
Provide leadership in data acquisition and analytics to inform business processes and improve patient outcomes.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

5-7 years of experience in healthcare informatics or a related field, with at least 2.5 years of clinical or technical experience in a critical access hospital.
3 years of supervisory experience in a managerial role, including team performance management and conflict resolution.
Master’s degree in Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Information Systems, Nursing Informatics, or Biomedical Informatics.
Current license to practice as a professional registered nurse (RN) in the State of Hawai’i, or as a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
Certification in one of the following: CPHIMS, CAHIMS, ANCC Informatics Nursing Certification, Clinical Informatics Board Certification, Health Information Certification, PMP, or CHDA.
PhD or DNP in Informatics, Health Systems Leadership, or related field.
Proficiency with data analytics and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Epic Cognito).
Experience in managing large-scale informatics or technology projects using Agile, Lean, or PMI methodologies.
