Role Summary
The Director of Information Services is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving technology initiatives that support clinical operations and enhance healthcare delivery. This position partners closely with executive leadership and operational teams to design, implement, and optimize critical healthcare systems.
In this role, you will lead high-impact projects, oversee application services, and ensure that technology solutions align with organizational goals. Duties & Responsibilities
Lead the strategy, implementation, and optimization of key healthcare information systems
Oversee multiple concurrent projects, ensuring successful delivery in a complex, multi-site environment
Partner with business and clinical leaders to align technology initiatives with organizational objectives
Monitor operational performance and drive continuous process improvement initiatives
Establish and maintain service levels to ensure high-quality end-user support
Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing information services team members
Communicate effectively with senior leadership regarding program direction, progress, and outcomes
Manage resources, budgets, and priorities across multiple initiatives
Ensure technology systems support clinical workflows and operational efficiency
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in Information Technology
Proven experience leading projects in complex, multi-site environments
Experience working with enterprise healthcare systems (Epic preferred)
Knowledge of ITIL service delivery processes
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Experience with budgeting and resource management
Desired Qualifications
Experience in healthcare IT leadership environments
Demonstrated success driving large-scale system implementations
Strong understanding of clinical and operational workflows
Experience building and scaling high-performing teams
Ability to influence and collaborate with executive stakeholders
Location & Work Type
On-site positionIrving, TexasFull-time | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Travel and occasional extended hours may be required during major system implementations
Contract-to-hire opportunity (initial 3-month engagement with potential for permanent placement)
