Director of MarketingNorthwestern Mutual – DenverNorthwestern Mutual Denver is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Marketing to lead marketing initiatives that help advisors grow their businesses, strengthen their personal brands, and create meaningful connections within the communities they serve.This individual will partner closely with advisors and leadership to elevate market presence, increase community visibility, enhance client engagement, support recruiting efforts, and drive business growth across our Denver Network Office. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, creative problem solver, relationship builder, and experienced marketing leader who thrives in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.What You'll DoStrategic Marketing Leadership
- Develop and execute the Denver Network Office marketing strategy aligned with growth, recruiting, and advisor success objectives.
- Measure marketing effectiveness and optimize investments based on performance and ROI.
- Manage marketing resources, budgets, vendors, and strategic partnerships.
- Consult with advisors to develop marketing and branding strategies that support business growth.
- Help advisors build differentiated brands and increase visibility within their target markets.
- Ensure consistent Northwestern Mutual and advisor brand standards across the network.
- Expand advisor visibility through community engagement, sponsorships, and strategic partnerships.
- Support advisors in establishing trusted and recognizable brands within their communities.
- Increase Northwestern Mutual Denver's presence across key growth markets.
- Lead client, prospect, and networking events that strengthen relationships and drive growth.
- Support advisors with strategies for prospecting, relationship building, and market development.
- Track and measure the business impact of marketing initiatives and events.
- Oversee advisor digital presence, including websites, social media, and online reputation.
- Develop digital marketing strategies that increase visibility, engagement, and brand awareness.
- Introduce innovative digital solutions that support advisor growth.
- Lead the creation of marketing materials, campaigns, and advisor branding resources.
- Support recruiting, leadership, and advisor communication initiatives.
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing and communication channels.
- Serve as the primary marketing consultant and strategic advisor to leadership and advisors.
- Coach advisors and team members on branding, marketing, and business development best practices as outlined by our home office.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and marketing excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive marketing experience with demonstrated leadership responsibility.
- Experience developing and executing strategic marketing programs that drive measurable business results.
- Strong expertise in branding, communications, events, digital marketing, and community engagement.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in financial services, professional services, wealth management, insurance, or entrepreneurial environments.
- Experience supporting independent business owners, advisors, consultants, or sales organizations.
- Background in experiential marketing, sponsorship activation, recruiting marketing, and community partnerships.
- Ful-time exempt position
- Compensation: $110k - $130k annually based on relevant experience
