Location: Central Pennsylvania (with travel as needed) Reports To: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Seltzer's is a 124-year-old, heritage-driven food company with a strong regional presence and an exciting future focused on innovation and growth. We are currently seeking a Director of Marketing to strengthen brand awareness, deepen consumer engagement, and support profitable growth across grocery and food service channels.

In this senior leadership role, you will report directly to the COO and lead the development and execution of marketing strategies that honor Seltzer's legacy while positioning the brand for long-term regional and national expansion. The Director of Marketing will play a critical role in shaping brand strategy, guiding marketing initiatives, and partnering cross-functionally to drive demand and support sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and execute a marketing strategy that honors Seltzer's heritage while engaging modern consumers
• Own brand positioning, messaging, and storytelling across all channels
• Oversee creative, content, photography, video, and social media to support product marketing and brand engagement
• Use consumer insights, market research, and performance data to guide strategy and measure ROI
• Partner closely with Sales to develop go-to-market strategies, promotional programs, and demand-driving initiatives
• Support product innovation and launches through positioning, packaging input, and launch planning
• Steward the brand as an ambassador, ensuring alignment with Seltzer's values, voice, and long-term vision
• Develop and manage marketing budgets, forecasts, vendors, and performance metrics
• Monitor market trends and consumer behavior to keep the brand relevant and competitive
• Build, lead, and develop the marketing team while managing the budget and external partners

Qualifications & Experience

• 7-10+ years of progressive marketing experience, preferably in CPG, food & beverage, or a related consumer industry
• Proven ability to build integrated marketing strategies and deliver clear, actionable recommendations to executive leadership
• Strong command of digital marketing channels, performance measurement, and analytics
• Excellent communicator and collaborator with experience partnering closely with Sales and senior leaders
• Strategic, data-driven marketer who balances long-term planning with hands-on execution
• Strong creative judgment with a modern approach to branding, messaging, and consistency
• Strong strategic planning skills, including contribution to product innovation and long-term business direction
• Ability and willingness to travel as needed
