Director Of Marketing - York Revolution

General Role Description: The primary goal of this position is to increase sales of tickets and other products for York Revolution and other events at WellSpan Park. This includes developing and implementing a consumer marketing and advertising strategy as well as supporting the work of the Sales Department by creating a receptive audience of advertisers and group sales purchasers. The primary and ultimate measure of success for this position is the sale of tickets and similar purchases for Revolution baseball games and related businesses. This position plays a key role in defining and promoting the York Revolution brand, including overseeing all graphic and creative design.The York Revolution is seeking a skilled Marketing Leader for the position of Director of Marketing.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Manage all Marketing Department personnel, indirectly hire and manage interns and all event staff, such as the rally crew, camera operators, mascot, PA announcers, and other game production personnel.Create and execute the external marketing plan, including Revolution individual, season and group ticket sales, special events, and merchandise.Create or direct the creation of all graphic design content to ensure brand standards are maintained, manage and protect the application of brand standards and Revolution marks internally and externally, create continuity across marketing initiatives, and project effective advertising messages.Manage the public communications for the organization includes all press releases, digital media posts, media advisories, Revolution app, and website. Organize and execute local media appearances and interviews for incoming entertainers and/or Revolution players to maximize exposure to the public.Serve as producer of "the show" at baseball games, including managing game production personnel during events at WellSpan Park.Maintain editorial control and ensure timely and accurate production of all print production, including playbill, flyers, posters and any other external print communication regarding the organization.Manage the implementation of Adobe Creative products and industry-standard design practices.Ideal Candidate:Proven marketer who can drive ticket sales, attendance, and fan engagementCreative storyteller with a strong eye for brand, design, and visual contentSkilled in digital marketing, social media, and multi-channel advertising campaignsNatural leader who can motivate marketing staff, interns, and game-day production teamsPassion for live events and creating unforgettable fan experiencesHighly organized collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced, game-day environmentAssociates or Bachelors degree in Marketing or willing to accept experience in lieu of degree.The York Revolution is a member of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.
