Job Description

KRUSH Tech is a new technology company building advanced hardware solutions for defense, aerospace, communications, and autonomous systems. We're launching our U.S. operations from the ground up — and this is a rare opportunity to join at the very beginning and help shape the company from day one.

At KRUSH Tech, we combine the agility of a startup with the ambition to tackle some of the industry's most demanding engineering challenges. Our teams work across disciplines—including RF, embedded systems, electronics, mechanical engineering, software, manufacturing, and supply chain—to transform innovative ideas into reliable, production-ready solutions. We are building a next-generation, vertically integrated aerospace organization focused on advanced uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS), autonomy, sensing technologies, and scalable manufacturing — for the U.S. market and strategic partners.

Reporting directly to the Site General Manager, the Materials Director is responsible for leading and overseeing all site-level materials functions, including planning, procurement, supply chain execution, inventory control, warehousing, and logistics. Within the site structure, this role provides leadership, ensuring alignment across all materials-related activities.

The Materials Director is accountable for building an integrated materials strategy that supports operational execution, customer satisfaction, inventory performance, and financial objectives. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that materials, systems, teams, and processes are aligned to support both ongoing operations and future business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate all site materials functions to ensure alignment with operational requirements and business priorities.
  • Provide direction and leadership to the Supply Chain Manager, Planning Manager, Procurement Manager, and Warehouse & Logistics Manager to ensure strong execution across all materials-related disciplines.
  • Establish and align site-wide material planning strategies to support production continuity, customer demand, and capacity requirements.
  • Oversee the end-to-end flow of materials, from supplier delivery through warehousing, internal distribution, and support to production lines.
  • Ensure materials are available at the right time, in the right quantity, and at the most effective cost while maintaining required quality and service standards.
  • Drive inventory strategy and control processes with a strong focus on inventory accuracy, working capital performance, and reduction of excess and obsolete materials.
  • Support high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring effective coordination between internal functions and customer requirements.
  • Partner closely with operations, quality, engineering, program management, finance, and commercial teams to ensure alignment across the business.
  • Ensure robust inventory control through cycle count programs, reconciliation processes, stock accuracy improvements, and materials governance.
  • Oversee shipping, warehouse, and logistics performance to ensure finished goods are delivered accurately and supported by proper documentation.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve policies, procedures, systems, and controls related to materials management.
  • Review and approve purchasing decisions, material-related change notices, and key escalations as required.
  • Ensure supplier-related claims, contracts, and materials decisions are aligned with company policies, service expectations, and business objectives.
  • Lead the disposition strategy for surplus, slow-moving, and obsolete materials.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across planning, procurement, logistics, inventory, and supply chain processes to improve service, efficiency, and cost performance.
  • Support site and corporate strategic objectives through strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and disciplined execution.
  • Travel as needed to support customers, suppliers, and operational requirements.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Typically requires 10–12 years of experience in materials management, supply chain, procurement, planning, logistics, or related operational functions.
  • Proven leadership experience managing multiple materials-related functions through direct and indirect teams.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, material flow, procurement, demand/supply planning, warehousing, and logistics operations.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with responsibility for customer service, operational continuity, and financial performance.
  • Lean Supply Chain training is preferred.
  • Master’s degree in a related field is an advantage.

Benefits

  • Health Care Plan
  • Retirement Plan
