Director of Nursing (DON) – Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing (DON) to join the leadership team of a large, high-performing Skilled Nursing Facility in the Chicago area.
This is a 200+ bed facility offering a diverse clinical environment, including:
- Long-Term Care (LTC)
- Memory Care
- Fast-Paced Short-Term Rehabilitation
- Ventilator Services
The ideal candidate is a strong clinical leader who thrives in a large-building setting and can inspire, mentor, and rally nursing teams to achieve exceptional outcomes. You will partner closely with a collaborative and community-focused Administrator who values teamwork, accountability, and resident-centered care.
Key Qualifications
- Proven DON experience in a large skilled nursing facility
- Strong clinical and regulatory knowledge
- Experience managing complex clinical programs, including rehab and ventilator care
- Ability to lead, develop, and retain nursing staff
- Track record of driving quality outcomes and survey success
- Excellent communication and team-building skills
