Job Description

Director of Nursing (DON) – Large Skilled Nursing FacilityRockstar Clinical Leader Wanted | 120+ Beds

We are seeking a proven, high-impact Director of Nursing to lead clinical operations in a large, fast-paced Skilled Nursing Facility (120+ beds). This role is designed for a rockstar DON—someone with a documented track record of success, exceptional survey readiness, and the ability to build, lead, and inspire strong clinical teams.

This is not a stepping-stone role. We are looking for an accomplished DON who has successfully led larger buildings, thrives under complexity, and knows how to drive results.

What You’ll Do

Lead and oversee all nursing and clinical services
Drive survey preparedness and regulatory excellence year-round
Build, mentor, and retain high-performing clinical leaders and frontline teams
Ensure strong communication across departments and with executive leadership
Maintain and improve quality outcomes, staffing stability, and clinical performance

What We’re Looking For

Active CA RN license
Demonstrated DON success in a 100+ bed Skilled Nursing Facility
Deep expertise in survey readiness, compliance, and regulatory leadership
Strong communicator with the ability to align teams and drive accountability
Hands-on, visible leader with high standards and follow-through
Proven ability to stabilize, grow, and elevate clinical teams
