Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team in providing exceptional care to residents in our nursing home facility. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a strong clinical background, capable of overseeing the nursing department, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of excellence in patient care. The Director of Nursing will play a pivotal role in enhancing the overall quality of healthcare services and maintaining high standards of resident satisfaction.Responsibilities:1. Clinical Leadership: - Provide clinical oversight and leadership to nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans based on residents' individual needs.2. Staff Management: - Recruit, train, and supervise nursing personnel, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants. - Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting professional growth and development.3. Regulatory Compliance: - Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing nursing home facilities. - Stay informed about industry standards and best practices, implementing necessary changes to maintain compliance.4. Quality Assurance: - Develop and implement quality assurance programs to assess and enhance the overall quality of nursing care. - Conduct regular audits and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.5. Patient and Family Engagement: - Establish effective communication channels with residents and their families, addressing concerns and ensuring a positive experience. - Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall well-being and satisfaction of residents.6. Education and Training: - Provide ongoing education and training to nursing staff to ensure competency and adherence to best practices. - Stay abreast of advancements in healthcare and implement relevant training programs.7.
