Director of Nursing (DON) - Skilled Nursing
Location: Granada Hills, CA
Full Spectrum Search Group is a full-service healthcare recruiting agency specializing in post-acute leadership and healthcare administration. We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing for a premier skilled nursing operator in theSan Fernando Valley market.
This is an opportunity to join a high-performing 99-bed skilled nursing facility operated by one of the most respected organizations in the industry. The facility is fully staffed, operates without agency usage, and is supported by strong operational and clinical leadership. The organization is seeking a nursing leader who can maintain clinical excellence, develop staff, and continue building upon an already successful operation.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide overall leadership and oversight of nursing operations within the facility
• Ensure delivery of high-quality resident care and positive clinical outcomes
• Lead, mentor, develop, and retain nursing staff across all departments
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements
• Drive survey readiness and quality improvement initiatives
• Partner with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to achieve operational and clinical goals
• Monitor staffing levels, scheduling, and workforce development efforts
• Oversee infection prevention, risk management, and quality assurance programs
• Foster a positive culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care
Qualifications
• Active California RN license required
• Previous Director of Nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
• Strong understanding of California skilled nursing regulations and survey process
• Proven leadership ability with experience building and managing clinical teams
• Demonstrated success driving quality outcomes and maintaining regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
