Position Details
- Position: Director of Nursing (DON)
- Location: Concord, NH 03301
- Schedule: Monday Friday
- Shift: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Required Qualifications
- Prior Director of Nursing or nursing leadership experience required
- PCC (PointClickCare) experience required
- Active RN License
Job Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all nursing services within the facility.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality resident-centered care.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff performance.
- Manage staffing schedules, staffing levels, and clinical operations.
- Ensure compliance with CMS, state, federal, and facility regulations.
- Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Monitor infection prevention, risk management, and patient safety programs.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care planning meetings.
- Review clinical documentation and ensure accurate medical records.
- Investigate incidents, concerns, and resident grievances.
- Monitor resident outcomes and implement corrective action plans as needed.
- Manage employee education, orientation, and competency programs.
- Collaborate with physicians, rehabilitation teams, pharmacy, and administration.
- Prepare for surveys, audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Utilize PointClickCare (PCC) for clinical management and documentation oversight.
